Ayurvedic Superfood Bowl Kitchari (32oz)

The classic of classics

In Ayurvedic nutrition, Kitchari is celebrated for its ability to:

  • Kindle agni (digestive fire/metabolism)
  • Nourish all seven tissues of the body (yes there are seven 🙂)
  • Support ojas, the subtle essence that governs vitality, immunity, and resilience
  • Balance Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, making it tridoshic and great for most constitutions

Kitchari is Ayurveda’s classic healing dish. The magic of kitchari is that it's both highly nutritious and easily digestible enabling your body to maximally absorb and assimilate the nutrients. Traditionally kitchari is a simple mildly spiced dish whereas ours is the party version 🥳 We load it up with freshly harvested vegetableshand-ground spicesand organic cultured ghee.

The fun doesn't stop there! We subtly evolve the dish each week to align with the seasons so you enjoy the same beloved Kitchari with the added delight of fresh ever evolving flavors.

Did you know?

Traditionally, kitchari is the first food given to babies when transitioning them from their mother's milk. The ease of absorption is what makes this such a healing dish for all of us. It is especially good for times of recovery (post birth, post surgery, etc) and or during cleansing protocols.
