Young Family Pasture Raised Chickens

Our chickens are raised in protective shelters on pasture that are moved every day. This constant moving keeps the ground underneath them hygienic, allows them to have access to fresh forage daily, and blesses the ground with their rich manure. They love to forage on leafy greens and any bugs they can get a hold of. We use a low PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acid) feed for them that is high in omega-3's. 

We are currently working to have a no PUFA feed that we can grind on site for the freshest and best quality feed possible. When the chickens are full size, we process them on site ourselves using methods similar to kosher practices for the most humane dispatching, and the cleanest processing possible. Anybody who buys chicken from us is encouraged to come and watch how we raise them and process them. This allows our customers to interact with the animals and be able to see what it takes to raise food ethically at every step.
